Today's thought: Kind words heal.
We can all be healers with kind words that heal bruised hearts. Take a moment to consider how simple that is. It is so much healthier for the mind and body to be in a state of calm and kindness, than to be in a state of the opposite of those feelings and emotions. Let us all be healers with kind words for ourselves and for those whose lives we touch. However small our role may be, let us bring our light into the dark with kind words that heal bruised hearts.

Today's thought: Energy
Everything lives and moves through energy. Energy vibrates. Thoughts, words, actions send out vibrations. We live in a sea of vibrations and attract to ourselves whatever our own energy and vibrations are transmitting at the time.
And, we are a part of the whole that is the Universe and beyond. We are all connected, a part of the whole, the living organism that includes all life, all things, all actions and reactions. We are a part of God, under whose will and direction all things live and move and have their being. Free will gives us choices. We can either move forward, benefitting all, or backwards, harming all. All choices have consequences to ourselves primarily, and to all secondarily.

During this holiday season when the emphasis is often on buying gifts, consider the gifts of time and love.
I believe time to be the most precious gift of all, for it is the only thing money cannot buy. At this time in my life, it is the gift that I treasure the most, that someone I care about takes time out of their busy lives and spends time with me. There may be someone you know who would appreciate your time together as the best gift ever!
Love is the great healer, and the other most precious gift to give and receive.
A beautifully wrapped package delights the eye; time and love feed the soul. Give what you can with goodwill and love, and it will always be the perfect gift.

Be true to self, your best self, your spiritual Self. When we look at Nature, we see that it is true to self. The oak tree is always an oak tree; roses bloom on a rose bush; carrots grow from carrot seeds, etc., etc., etc.
Let us be true to the Spirit within that gives us life. Let us care for ourselves and for others as much as we are able. Let us be a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem. Let us walk in peace and light that the world will be a better place for all. Let us be true to the God-self within us.
