Home
This is a home of peace and tranquility,
a home of love and understanding,
a home of joy and laughter,
a home of books and dreams-come-true,
a home of faith and Spirit.
God lives here.
This is my home and I am deeply grateful.

Today's thought: Do what you can.
From Luke 6:38:
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put in your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back."
Some may perceive the 'giving' to relate only to material goods. I think it goes beyond that to the giving of your time when someone is ill, comfort when someone is grieving, a kind word to someone who is struggling, patience to a child who needs attention at that moment, tolerance that we are human and will sometimes make mistakes. An understanding heart and a smile may be the best and kindest things we can offer to others.
Wishing you the blessing of a kind and understanding heart.....and may all blessings pour down upon you, in full measure, pressed down, and overflowing.
