Today is World Peace Day, and I would like to share a few thoughts about peace:
There will be peace in the world when there is peace within us.
There will be peace in the world when there is peace between us and others.
There will be peace in the world when more people love peace than hate war.
May all of you experience the beautiful words of Mother Teresa's poem, "Peace."
"May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this Presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and
love.
It is there for each and every one of you."

World Prayer Day
Thursday, September 13, is World Prayer Day. Please add your prayers for a peaceful planet to those of so many others who will be offering prayers tomorrow.
Please pray also for the gentling of winds and calming of storms that are so prevalent in the weather at this time. So many people are affected in life-threatening ways.
Thank you for doing all that you can to care for yourselves and others. The blessings that you send out will return to you in your own hour of need.

Just a few thoughts......
Negative emotions arise from the ego, not Spirit. Once in awhile, it's a good idea to check who is running our show. Ego is there to serve us, not to become our master.
We come together by Divine design. Everyone in our lives is there for us to learn and grow in some way. What we do with the endless opportunities is up to us.
Everything happens for the good of the soul, and we draw to ourselves all that we need for enlightenment. This is the only reason we are here on the 'school' planet Earth, to learn and grow in love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness.....in short, to become enlightened and to share the Light.
It is never too early and it is never too late to make wise decisions from the heart.
Be kind.......especially to yourselves.....as well as to others.
Wishing you the blessing of peace that comes from a kind and understanding heart.

Everything that is, began with God. Everything that is, is a part of God. In every cell and atom of creation, there is God in the center of it. There is no place, person, or thing where God is not.
When we understand this, accept this, and live this, love and kindness will rule the world and there will no longer be a need for man-made laws; we will be living God's laws.
Wishing you love, peace, joy, and a deeply grateful heart.

Everyone gets a turn.

Everyone gets a turn at being happy, and everyone gets a turn at grieving. Everyone gets a turn at feeling healthy, and everyone gets a turn at feeling ill. Everyone gets a turn at feeling successful and everyone gets a turn at feeling they are not.
Everyone gets a turn because this is how we learn. Every situation in life that confronts us is the perfect opportunity to learn and grow from that particular situation. When hurtful situations occur, we can ask ourselves, "What is the lesson to be learned at this time?" We quiet ourselves, trust our intuition, change a habit if that is what is needed, let go of what is harmful to us, and go forward from there.
It is easier to learn from others' experiences what is acceptable and what is not. Easier to follow the words of the Masters, the mystics, the words of the recognized Wise Ones who have gone before us, those whose mission and whose lives were dedicated to helping all of mankind to work toward the Light. There are always many among us who do this work quietly for the good of all. They will cross your path at the perfect time for you. Everything happens in its own perfect time.
Choose a right and honorable path to growth and enlightenment. You will be happier, healthier, and blessed beyond believing. Everything that comes to pass is a blessing.....some are more heavily disguised than others, but everything that comes to pass is a blessing......and everyone gets a turn.

Happy New Year!
In this New Year, let us resolve to be more kind. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to family and friends. Be especially kind to children, as growing up is no easy task. Be kind to the earth and every living thing. Be kind to all people and to all things.
Be kind and gentle with yourself. We are all in the process of 'learning and growing,' mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Practice random acts of kindness toward yourself as well as others. Accept yourself, love yourself, forgive yourself, and you will more easily be able to accept others, love others, forgive others.
Be grateful for everything you have been, everything you are, and everything you hope to be. Be grateful for all that you see, hear, touch, taste, and feel. Let every breath, every step, every beat of your heart be a "Thank You, God." Be grateful for every cell and atom of yourself and all creation.
In this New Year, let us resolve to be more kind and more grateful, thereby enriching our own lives and the lives of all those we touch. By our example, we can begin a wave of kindness and gratitude that has the possibility of circling the planet, nourishing and enriching all of us and every living thing.
