Today's thought: Forgiveness
While on the cross, Jesus said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34
At any given moment in time, we can only act according to our understanding at that time. When we know better, we will be better, and we will act better. We don't look at this as an excuse to behave irresponsibly. We look at this as the reason to learn more, that we may understand ourselves more fully, forgive ourselves and others more readily, and achieve our oneness with the Father more quickly. Nonforgiveness of self and others is a roadblock on our path to enlightenment.
Wishing you insight, courage, the ability to forgive.....and peace, joy, and love, always.
