The soul never dies. I recently came across this beautiful poem by Jane Ormes that expresses this so beautifully, I wanted to share it with you.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain...
When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die."
The scientists tell us that we are made of the same matter as the stars. We are the stuff that stars are made of and the breath of God gives us life. How beautiful the world would be if we all realized this truth.

In commemoration of the Friday when Jesus, hanging from the cross, said, "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do," let us also forgive ourselves and others whom we perceive have harmed us in any way.
There is a time for feeling wounded, a time to grieve, and a time to let go and let God take care of what has happened in our lives. In His infinite love and compassion, all will be well. Do what you can, the best you know how, and leave the rest to God.

Further Steps on a Spiritual Path
"A Greater Power knows our true need. We would give you a vision of an infinite power working in perfect order, from the heights to the depths, from heaven above right down to the physical and through all humanity. We would show you a process in all life of changing darkness into light. Light creates life. And even in the very lowest form of life, light is working amid the darkness. Divine law, the law of God, is working on the darkness, the positive state working on the negative, in a process that is gradually producing the perfect God-conscious being."
We are born knowing what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is bad, which actions further our spiritual journey and which actions delay it. Our conscience, our intuition, our inner guidance are within us from the beginning and remain to the end. It is up to each of us to choose whether we will live in the Light or in the darkness. And whatever we do to and for ourselves, we do to and for all others, because we are all connected. We are all one family in the mind of God.

Within the past six months or so, I have come across some sources of information that have been very helpful to me. I share them in the hope they may also be helpful to you.
The Shift Network.com has programs in the fields of spirituality, health and exercise, foods including medicinal plants, a healthy brain, etc. The speakers are all leading experts in their respective fields. The 'shift' in Shift Network indicates a 'shift in consciousness,' that we may grow in understanding.
Thinking Allowed.com hosts interviews with leading edge researchers in various fields. I was particularly interested in the interviews with Fred Alan Wolf, a quantum physicist who explains science and spirituality are in accord, in language that we can all understand.
Conscious TV.com is a British network doing the same as The Shift Network and Thinking Allowed.

Our own sacredness.

We choose a physical body that will help us evolve spiritually and come to this beautiful planet Earth to live a purposeful life that will lead us to recognize our own sacredness.
All that is was once a thought in the mind of God into which He breathed life, and life came into being. All of life came into being and all of life is connected through the breath of God.
All of life, the visible and the invisible, is connected and affected by our own individual thoughts and actions added to the collective thoughts and actions of all thinking creatures. Each of us has the power and the privilege of changing our own individual world and also becoming a vehicle for change for the planet and the entire family of God.
We are spiritual beings who have chosen to experience a physical life. Let us remember the sacred place from which we came, and to which we will return, and conduct ourselves accordingly.
Wishing you the blessing of recognizing the sacredness of your own being.....and peace, joy, and love, always.

Today I am once again posting 'Wisdom from White Eagle,' who explains the power of thought so much better than I could.
The Power of Thought: "It comes down to this, that every single person has an immense opportunity to send forth the thought of God. Just think of God and give the thought of God. Just think of God and give God the opportunity to work through the physical life; and this applies to all the aspects of your life on earth. If the light is generated and sent forth, you are acting with all the power that God has given you to assist your earth companions to respond to and absorb the light which is being sent to them. Good thought, God thought, can raise the whole life of humanity."
Wishing you the blessing of realizing that your thoughts matter, that all thoughts matter, that what is happening in the world today is the end result of all the thoughts, words, and actions of all of us. We can change our lives when we change our thoughts and, equally important, we can help change life on the planet for all of us.

Wisdom from White Eagle:
"It is so easy to judge the actions of others, but dear ones, do try to refrain from judgment, for as you condemn others, so you condemn yourself. Strive to be tolerant and to give from your heart the gentle spirit of the master soul. Jesus the Christ is a master soul, man made perfect; and this highly evolved and perfected soul incarnated in order to reveal to individual men and women what they could themselves attain if they followed the simple, gentle way of the Christ.
'Forgive, my children, forgive. Whatever is in your heart, however hard you may feel towards any soul, possibly with justification according to material standards, pray to forgive as Jesus taught in his simple prayer. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Do you not realize that in forgiving others, you are releasing yourselves? So long as you sit in harsh judgment on your fellows, refusing to forgive, you bring that same judgment upon yourself, for life is ruled by spiritual law. But as soon as you feel forgiveness in your own heart, you release yourself from the bondage of your karma.
'Karma is transmuted when men and women learn to think and act from the spirit, with love."
