Today's thought: Plan ahead. Just in case...
Just in case, as billions on the planet believe, we do reincarnate, why not plan ahead for the next time? Why not learn and grow in peace, love, and compassion? Why not drop that bad habit gradually until it no longer exists. Why not study in depth a subject that interests you? Why not learn a new skill that will bring you pleasure and monetary rewards, if that is your wish? Why not plan ahead, just in case?
You have everything to gain and nothing to lose. In learning and doing any and all things that interest you, you exercise your brain, you live a happier, more fulfilling life, you add to the joy and peace on the planet.
Some who believe in reincarnation say we are no wiser when we leave this physical body behind than we were when we inhabited it. So, it would seem the best course of action would be to live our best possible life now. By doing so, we benefit 'now' and, just in case there is a future life to choose, we have prepared ourselves for that possibility to the best of our ability.
