Today's thought: The more things change...
The following quote from Cicero, (born 106 B.C., died 43 B.C.), lends credence to the saying, '"The more things change, the more they remain the same."
"Times are bad. Children no longer obey their parents, and everybody is writing a book."
That always makes me smile. Every generation believes the older generation is too old to understand, and the younger generation is too young to know anything. Actually, we are all here to learn and grow in understanding, compassion, and love. We would not recognize what we call 'mistakes' in others, if we did not also have them within ourselves. We all have within us, needs of every kind. Which of those we nurture and develop makes the difference on who we become.
Wishing you the blessing of a clear mind and eye that for yourself, you will make the best possible choices and live the best possible life.....and peace, joy, and love, always.
